I forgot to tell you all about yesterday. It was a holiday here in Barcelona where people dont go to work which was of course AWESOME! I think it's similar to labor day the way my host mother explained it to me. My friend Charlotte and I went to a beach called Sitges south of where I live which was absolutely beautiful! It was also full of people and te weather was amazing!

I can’t believe it’s almost over! It’s officially my last week in Barcelona and its bittersweet! Of course I’m excited to go home and see my family and friends but Barcelona has been so good to me! Below is a picture of my class. I have first grade girls and they are amazing and full of life! When I told them we were taking pictures for my teachers in America they were ECSTATIC! They read all the names on the back of the flat Stanley’s that have traveled abroad with me and I told them a little about the students who colored them. I also told them about Mrs. Hardcastle and Mrs. Herald’s class and how great my students were back in Bowling Green! I have been so blessed with the opportunity to travel to Barcelona and am sad to leave but off to even better things! Graduation in eight days!!! Anyways, I still have ONE MORE TRIP planned!! If you know me, you know I try to squeeze a lot in the little time I have J I am going to La Costa Brava with some friends tomorrow and am super excited! The pictures look spectacular and of course I will share them with you all later! Thanks for reading! :)

It has been the most eventful weekend I have ever experienced! I spent Friday-Sunday in Rome with a couple of girls from our group and had a blast! It was amazing seeing all of the history there and made me wish I would have paid more attention in Art Appreciation! (Thankfully we paid for a tour guide) We were able to not only see, but go inside The Coloseum, Palatino Hill, The Vatican, and go in front of the Trevi Fountain. Yes, we accomplished A LOT in two nights and one full day! We also took a bus tour which let us see the outside of a lot of the historical monuments but hey, you cant see Rome in a day! Rome has such rich history that I never thought I would find so interesting! Romans were very, very resourceful but a little scary. I learned a little Italian and we met some amazing people in Rome on our tours and at restaurants. Gratefully, they love Americans! The Vatican was definitely my favorite thing we visited in Rome! Although we were there for three hours and I got lost from my group the last hour I thought, "When else will I get lost in Rome, nonetheless The Vatican! Embrace! Carpe Diem!" Thankfully I found my friends right before the exit once we reached the Sistine Chapel, which was BREATHTAKING! Can NOT believe one person painted that with their hand and with no technology! Michelangelo is a pure genius. It also looked three-dimensional which I never noticed in art history books. Anyways, even if you're not interested in art you would still have been blown away, the architecture the museums, and the city in general is amazing! Of course, I’ll attach pictures but Ill try not to overload you I have about 600 from my trip! Thanks for reading! Ciao. :)

My first week in Barcelona has been AMAZING! Surprisingly, I havent got home sick. Spain is absolutely beautiful and the school I am at is very interesting. The schools here are very different from American schools and much more relaxed with longer days. The school days start at 9AM and end at around 4:45 but there are plenty of breaks in between! The weather is amazing and I never want to leave! Ill post more pictures next week! Adios!

No, not my trip but my passport! I was a little nervous that I wouldn't get it in time but it came in less than three weeks! I cant wait to start filling it up with stamps. They got rid of my old passport since I wasn't 16 so now I have to start all over. :( Anyways, below is my passport and flight information! It's becoming reality! :)
